Abstract

The relationship between health and communication is necessary and unavoidable. This book analyzes the field of strategic communication in the field of health from the point of view of the health researcher communication, discussing theoretically, methodologically and epistemologically. From a reading of the chapters, elaborated by different authors, we conclude that in the field of the of communication, both in the field of teaching and in the field of education. research, the intersection between health and communication is conspicuous by its absence. They are and marginalized communication and health research, and virtually all of them are in the process of there is no health as a field and problem in the curricula of bachelor's and master's degrees postgraduate degrees in communication in Latin America.
