Communication and health are two sides of the same coin, but not by antagonists, but on the contrary, given that they form part of the same reality that takes place in the healthcare environment. This indissoluble binomial is the basis of the sanitary act because, in essence, the relationship created between the health professional and the patient is a communicative act. So much so, that any relationship that is established between the doctor and the patient begins with what the patient says. that we call medical anamnesis, that is to say, the dialogue that takes place between both by which the first receives information from the second about his clinical situation.
