"We work with the conviction that communication is not a task of the social communicators but that it is incumbent on all the social communicators to agents involved in a problem of social change." Hernán Alfredo Díaz, p. 35
Use this quote to make it clear that we are dealing with a courageous book with clear proposals for the studious and the professional who has to face the problems of communication and health in general and in the area of addictions in particular. For that, and no other, is the question of this work. For this reason, perhaps its greatest, and perhaps only error, is its title, not very explanatory. of its contents. Made up of 10 contributions from as many authors, and introduced by a short and accurate prologue by Tania Menéndez, the book is the fruit of the same impulse that has brought its coordinators to launch the International Institute for Communication and Health (INICyS) and the Magazine of Communication and Health that the reader has in his hands. All this with the support of the Abbott Foundation and Madrid Salud (Madrid City Council) and the academic support of Complutense University of Madrid.
