Europe is experiencing an economic crisis that was not remembered. With Greece, Ireland and Portugal in the lead, and Italy and Spain in the lead, the Old Continent rises every day with the shock of how the country risk will be behaved or what new shares the International Monetary Fund or the rating agencies will claim. This economic uncertainty, derived from the financial excesses protected by those who manage the markets, is provoking an intense debate on the sustainability of the Welfare State, one of whose pillars is the national health system. I believe I am not mistaken in saying that this European epidemic is being experienced o has been lived, mutatis mutandis, in many Latin American countries.
